About the Project

The Charles & Light Street pilot project between Conway and Saratoga on Charles and Pratt and Lombard on Light has begun a six-month pilot to evaluate the potential for improving passenger travel times, service reliability, and customer experience by testing peak hour dedicated bus lanes.

This pilot differs from block to block either replacing a travel lane with a bus lane or narrowing travel lanes to create a bus lane. The bus lane is clearly identified with signs and pavement marking. There have been few changes to previous parking or loading.
